Welcome to the virtual party!
We are building this cute Rustic Wheelbarrow!
Did you know The Home Depot offers Workshops at all of their locations for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels?
Customers can learn how to build décor projects, how to make easy home repairs and how to operate tools through demonstrations and step-by-step instructions.
I got all my supplies together and my tools. I’m ready to build!
I don’t have a work table so I improvised and used my recycle bins.
Cutting the wheel was probably the biggest challenge but it didn’t turn out too bad! A little sanding and I was good to go.
Here it is unfinished.
I decided to paint it with colors that coordinate with our black and white farmhouse.
I added some big and little pumpkins, mums, a winter pansy, a tag with a “D” and a burlap bow.
The chalkboard is vintage that I’ve had for years, I wrote “give thanks” with chalkboard pencil.
For now, it found a home under the tree out front with our house number on it. Want to know how to make the rustic house number sign? You can read the post here.
You can register for the DIY Workshop here!
